The following is the typical process we use to create a new web site. If, however, you are looking to have your existing site modified, the process differs slightly, but is generally the same.
Step 1: Initial Meeting
In our first meeting we will discuss your goals for the site, those sites that you like and those site that you dislike. We will explain the current design trends of the internet. With all of this information in mind, we will create a document that will outline the structure and scope of the work to be performed by our designers and developers.
Step 2: Site Structure & Scope Document
After our initial meeting, we will create a document that displays the hierarchy of your site. This document will also display the various items and functionalities that will exist on each page.
Step 3: Prototype Creation
In accordance with the site structure document we will design a prototype of the homepage that incorporates all the functionalities and elements that will exist on that page. Step 4: Prototype Revisions
After you have had a chance to review and scrutinize the prototype that we created, we will ask for whatever revisions you would like to be made and incorporate those revisions. Once you have approved the revisions, we will begin the process of development.
Step 5: Search Engine Optimization
We will work with you to optimize the text of your site so that search engines will categorize your site and allow the best possible ranking in the search results.
